Match overview:

The final day of the three-month-long Pro Kabaddi League season sees the inter-zone wildcard challenge continue in the Kolkata leg as the Jaipur Pink Panthers face off against the Bengaluru Bulls at the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Indoor Stadium.

Jaipur Pink Panthers come into the fixture after a roller-coaster affair in their home leg with two wins, two losses and two drawn matches. They bowed out of playoff contention and will be playing for pride in the last match. Deepak Niwas Hooda and co. will aim to end the season on a high after managing to lift themselves off the foot of the table in the Zone A standings.

Bengaluru Bulls, on the other hand, have constantly maintained their top spot in the Zone B standings throughout the season. The Bulls secured their qualification to the playoffs a couple of weeks ago and will aim to get the win and stay in a comfortable position at the top of the table. They have impressed all across the mat with the raiding duo of Pawan Kumar Sehrawat and Rohit Kumar operating well, backed by a stable defensive setup.

The raiding partnership of Rohit Kumar and Pawan Kumar Sehrawat has been the key factor for Bengaluru’s success and qualification to the playoffs. Pawan has been one of the most prolific raiders this season and has impressed everyone with his dynamic raiding. Bengaluru Bulls’ left corner Amit Sheoran cemented his place in the lineup after a strong second half of the season, scoring 31 points in 11 matches, and will be aiming to add more points with his ankle holds and blocks.

All-Rounders

Deepak Niwas Hooda (16 Cr) forms the all-rounders of the Dream XI Fantasy Squad.

After a strong showing at Jaipur’s home leg in Panchkula, Deepak Niwas Hooda will be keen to continue the momentum and end the season on a positive note. He was the top scoring raider in Panchkula and will aim to get past the 200 raid point mark (he currently stands at 195 points).

Player to watch out for: Deepak Niwas Hooda
