Dabang Delhi K.C v Tamil Thalaivas
06th December, Thursday, 21:00 IST
Thyagaraj Sports Complex, Delhi
With four wins from five games, Dabang Delhi will be hoping to equal the record for the most successful home leg this season as they prepare to face the Tamil Thalaivas in their final home game.
Against the Bulls, Dabang Delhi pulled off a last second win and will hope to give themselves a lot more space but their task will not be the easiest at hand as the Thalaivas will have confidence with a win against the Titans and a tie against the Patna Pirates their most recent results.

Team: Ajay Thakur (Captain), Jasvir Singh, Sukesh Hegde, Manjeet Chhillar, D Pradap, Amit Hooda, P Subramaniam.
My dream XI
Delhi’s skipper Joginder Narwal has not collected a heap of points in this season and has just one ‘High-5’ but his ability to effect some crucial tackles with be handy while Satpal’s contribution as a substitute have certainly not gone unnoticed. For the Thalaivas, Manjeet Chhillar has been rock solid in the defense setup and can be expected to cause quite a few issues for the Delhi raiders.
With the burden of tackling off his shoulders, Meraj Sheykh has enjoyed raiding this season and his mixed bag of tricks will be crucial to bring home a number of points. With close to 70 raid points from 13 games, Meraj has picked up the pace for sure.
One of India’s favourite Kabaddi sons will be in action for the Thalaivas as Ajay Thakur will shoulder the bulk of the raiding duties yet again while for Delhi, Naveen Kumar will hope to shrug off the disappointing outing against the Bengaluru Bulls and get back to his usual high-scoring form.
Captain and vice-captain: Ajay Thakur and Naveen Kumar.
Alternatives: Ajay Thakur and Meraj Sheykh.
Player to watch out for: Ajay Thakur
The Thalaivas skipper has 155 raid points from 16 games thus far and is close to touching the 10-raid point average per match which places him high in the list of the best raiders this season. With a 16-point outburst his most recent result, Thakur will certainly be one of the players to watch out for.
